Over the winter holidays the house belongs to one group of up to 44 people. For birthdays and private parties, the dining room takes up to 50 guests.

New Year's Eve
On New Year's Eve the house, the dining room and the courtyard are yours alone. The dining room fits the whole group, for dinner and dancing.

Christmas and New Year on the Julian calendar
Communities that keep the Julian calendar, such as the Ukrainians of northern Maramureș in the Ruscova valley, celebrate Christmas on 7 January and New Year on the night of 13 to 14 January. For groups who celebrate then, or who simply want one more winter holiday in Maramureș, the house is let just as it is for New Year.

Easter
Families and groups come for three or four nights at Easter, for the home cooking. In April 2026, guests also wrote about the folk performance and the days spent in traditional costume.

For birthdays and private parties, the dining room takes up to 50 guests. We agree the menu together once the date and the number of guests are set.

Carol singers and dancers
A 2015 review mentions a group of carol singers and dancers from Borșa over the winter holidays. And traditional music and dance groups still play in the dining room today.
