The Borșa Tourist Resort is 14.7 km, about 20 minutes away by car. From here you go up to the Horses’ Waterfall (Cascada Cailor), and in winter it is the nearest ski area to the guesthouse.
The Horses’ Waterfall
According to Wikipedia, the water falls in several steps from a height of about 90 metres, at an altitude of around 1,300 metres. You can reach the waterfall by the cable transport from the resort, or on foot.
In winter
Booking.com lists skiing among the activities nearby. Slopes, lift times and prices should be checked in advance, directly with the resort.
For groups
- The coach stops at the resort; from there the group goes up on its own.
- If you set off in the morning, you will be back in time for dinner at the guesthouse. Tell us in your enquiry what time you would like to eat.
