The Olympic slope at the Borșa Tourist Resort opened on 20 December 2021 as Romania’s first Olympic-size ski slope. It is about 15 km, roughly 20 minutes from the guesthouse by car.
What you will find
- A gondola with a 2.6 km cable and eight-seat cabins, running between the bottom station (around 847 m) and the top station (around 1,633 m).
- Red and blue runs of about 3 km each. When the Olympic slope opened, the resort announced 6 km of runs in total.
- In summer, the gondola takes you up to views over the Borșa valley.
Good to know
- Gondola hours, prices and slope conditions should be checked in advance, directly with the resort, as they change from season to season.
- For ski groups, we can serve breakfast earlier and dinner when you get back. Just mention it in your enquiry.
- The large photo at the top is illustrative: it shows a similar slope, not the one in Borșa. The Borșa slope is in the photos below.
