The Rodna Mountains and Pietrosul Rodnei peak

Pietrosul Rodnei (2,303 m) can be seen from Moisei. Booking.com lists the summit as 8 km away and the Rodna Mountains National Park as 6.6 km. We have not measured these distances ourselves.

A day in the mountains

A guest who stayed with us in 2026 wrote that their hike to Pietrosul Rodnei took about 11 hours. They reached the guesthouse at around 22:00, after check-in time, and the hosts welcomed them warmly.
